It calls for Class A concrete, 6 inches thick, for residential driveways there. On streets with roll curb or ribbon curb and gutter, a concrete driveway up to 10.5 feet long in the right-of-way needs no driveway permit, and a longer one needs a separate driveway permit. Where the road has no curb, gutter or sidewalk, a driveway permit is required.
Arizona law requires contacting Arizona 811 before digging, and the service is free. Locators have two full working days to respond, and we don't dig until every utility on the ticket has. Within 24 inches of a marked line, the law allows hand tools only.
